I have always loved living spaces. As a teenager whenever I visited friend's houses I would notice how they looked and felt and whether they were inviting or unattractive. Later I would think about what would make them a more pleasant place to live in.
I studied interior design in Mexico City. Since I had always liked drawing and painting this career seemed like the perfect combination of both interests.
Since then I have been involved with helping many clients to make their own homes more comfortable and beautiful. Sometimes small changes such as a new sofa or window coverings can make a big difference; sometimes clients prefer to start from scratch when moving into a new apartment or house. Each job is different and interesting to me.
Listening carefully to the client's wishes and noticing their individual taste is very important in helping to create an environment that they can feel is an extension of themselves -- a comfortable and beautiful place to enjoy living in whether alone, with a family, or entertaining friends.
